Ramon Betances is the founder of Guardian Insurance Services and a licensed Real Estate agent. He moved from the Domincan Republic to the US when he was five years old and adapted quickly to the American way of life. He has overcome many challenges and learned from many mentors to achieve his goals. He is passionate about helping people with their plans and teaching others how to be effective and happy in what they do.
Ramon wasn’t supposed to be a CEO. He grew up in both the Domincan Republic and the states, a city kid in an impoverished neighborhood. Both his parents only spoke Spanish and worked in physical labor. He didn’t excel in school and was told by a school counselor that he would never make more than $25k a year.
However, Ramon never let that keep him from dreaming big. From a young age he started selling chocolate door to door and he got his first taste of the entrepreneurial bug. Always hungry to make money and have more financial stability he worked as a dishwasher at a hospital and a delivery man for a local pizza parlor.
He got into Real Estate with the hope of making $100k a year. He never cracked it. It was then a friend brought him into the Life and Health Insurance sales business that his career and finances took off. After 10 years trying to make over 100K in Real Estate, he made over that in ONE year in Insurance. That number has grown significantly since that starting point.
This business is a unique opportunity and through luck and hard work, Ramon has been able to grow his business far beyond what he or his school counselor ever imagined.
The objective here is not to flex or impress you, but to press the point of what is possible when you believe, work your ass off towards a vision and take advantage of a door being opened to you.

However, it's often the seemingly unremarkable elements that possess a foundation of reliability and strength. As Brenna ventured into this realm, her financial trajectory underwent a complete transformation. A new chapter unfurled as she purchased a home, whisked her family away on a memorable European escapade, and discovered a sense of liberation that once seemed elusive.
